Program I

We are delighted to announce the beginning of Kisan Mithra Fellowship program, a 14 day training program on topics including sustainable farming  help the farmers on various topics from agro-ecological approaches to running farmer field schools to train farmers, to problem diagnosis and suggesting solutions, to organising farmer cooperatives, building forward and backward linkages, running Kisan business schools to train the farmers and farmer cooperative leaders.

As part of this program, almost 15 farmers from different states will be participating. The cost of the training (which includes boarding, lodging for 14 days and the travel expenses) is Rs 20,000. So a total of 3 lakhs will be spent towards this.

Program II

Provide financial assistance to Sahaja Aharam (sahajaaharam.in) to procure farm produce, which includes cereals, pulses, oil seeds, spices, sweetner and others, via farmer cooperatives and maximing their profits.
