Dear Supporters,

Thanks a lot for your support.

Our father is doing well in the ICU. Vessopressive support for the blood pressure maintanence is completely removed. He has been put on our home ventilation device (Bipap A40) today evening and his feed tolerance is better.

However, bilateral haziness in the chest X-Ray is seen and a bacterial infection caused by pseudomonas aeruginosa is found in the tracheal secretions. C-difficile toxin is suspected in the stool. Urine sample has also shown bactrial growth. All these complications and infections are being treated through medications and antibiotics.

We feel that he is going in the right direction and his discharge from the ICU may still take 4-5 days. After which we will have to take care of him with much more strict protocols at our home ICU setup.

We seek your continuous support. Keep sharing our campaign page. It's not about the survival of an individual only, but also about raising the overall ALS awareness in our country. We have been constantly resisting everyone else's advice (including doctors, nurses, relatives etc) and fighting really hard to provide the best care to our father.

We need your support to set an example that ALS patients can be kept healthy, alive, smiling and productive through modern technologies (ventilators, eye tracking etc) and very good care. Stephan Hawking is already an example from the western world who lived with ALS for more than 50 years, ofcourse, with a very good care, support and modern technologies.

Thanks and Regards,
Harsh and Reena

Dear Supporters,

I am extremely pleased to inform you that our father is recovering fast. If everything goes as expected, he will still be under hospital ICU care for another one week or so. After that we will shift him to our home ICU setup for further IV antibiotic treatment and recovery.

We are super-thankful for your support. Keep sharing and supporting us in order to keep our father with ALS alive. Let's prove that ALS isn't a death sentence.

Thanks and Regards,
