A Happy New Year to all our supporters and well-wishers!

We rang in the new year with an open day for the library and received an excellent response from the local community.

Our first group of visitors arrived sharp at opening time and shared laughs while browsing through our collection of over 1000 books.


Ruksar and Shweta, our Youth Community Leaders, took the group on a tour of the library.

They discussed their favourite books and showed off the Art Attack corner.


The day continued with children dropping in regularly.
Abbas read his favourite Noddy stories.
Shoyeb helped with decorating the space.
Some of our slightly older kids also re-discovered books.
And others were fascinated by dinosaurs.

By the end of the day we had over 50 visitors and have continued attracting more and more readers and artists over the last week.

Greetings from The Next Page. We are busy finishing up with the set up of the centre and hope to be fully functional from 1st January. We will upload more photos of the centre over the next few days as we finalise everything.

We are happy to let you know that thanks to your support we are ready to move into our new home this weekend!

We have finalised the space and are ready to start setting up The Next Page, with our Youth Community Leaders and Volunteers ready for a busy weekend of cleaning up the new space, setting up the space, and moving and labeling books.
