Ashok's condition has been gradually progressing but the hospital costs have also increased. He will require an LVAD device in the near future and may require a transplant based on his progress next week. We hope you will continue to support us.

Dear Supporters,

Dr. Ashok is currently under the care of the NH team who are doing their best to get him better. He is still in the ECMO (heart lung machine) and his condition is stable. The doctors feel there is a little swelling in the heart that they want to reduce by waiting 2 days more. There were few blood clots in his lungs that they have removed and they have done an angiogram which shows one vessel blocked which the bypass has corrected. The team taking care of him are positive but say that his condition is still critical.

Dr.Ashok has been successfully shifted to Narayana Hrudyalaya (NH). Thanks, in no small part, to the extraordinary effort and cooperation of the intensive care  teams of both St. John’s and NH and also the assistance from the Bangalore traffic police. He still remains critical and requires to be taken to the OT for further intervention. Your prayers and contributions are greatly appreciated.
