Thank you so much for your contribution to Trupti. Priya a medical representative from Apollo has spoken to us to give us an update on Trupti’s condition.
Trupti is currently under Total Parenteral Nutrition, where food in its simplest form is injected intravenously into her blood. She is currently under “Apollo Home Care” as there is an increased risk of catching an infection if she stays at the hospital.
The doctors are still in the process of stabilizing her condition before the surgery, which is tentatively scheduled for March 14th. She is doing much better than last week and currently weighs 32 Kgs. She needs to put on weight gradually after which she will be ready for surgery.
