Dear Supporters,

Thank you for all the support that you have shown toward our cause. We are humbled and will forever be grateful for the love you have shown toward our campaign.

With the funds raised, we are working aggressively toward the completion of our work. The water level has been steadily increasing in the 564 acres of Peravurani Lake. The before and after video of the same is posted above. Besides this, we have also taken part in a tree plantation drive with Atlanticschool Peravurani. Attached below are photos from the drive that was held.

Thank you, everyone, for all the support!

With your help, I can assure you that the farmers of the Cauvery delta region will bounce back strong. With the money raised, right now we are desilting the Peravurani lake, strengthening boundaries and renovating water channels in Kothamangalam Pudukkottai district.
We want to renovate and desilt channels that connect the Cauvery river and the different water bodies in the Kadaimadai area of the delta region. We will be further working on desilting the water bodies. For a JCB we're paying 800 for an hour, and for a tractor we are paying 2900 per day and for a Hitachi 210 we're paying 1600 per hour.  For working on 1 Km of a water canal, we require a Hitachi 210 for 10 hours. Water canals of more than 200 kms collectively need to be renovated and desilted in the Kadaimadai area which will cost around 32 lakhs. This will ensure that the Cauvery water reaches to the maximum number of farmers and helps in irrigation of the entire Kadaimadai area.
We need to purchase equipment which will reduce the cost of our desilting efforts and provide a permanent solution to rejuvenate our water bodies. We will be planting 25000 saplings, and 50000 palm seeds and maintain the saplings all over the Kadaimadai area. Saplings of height 6ft costs around 90 rupees. And saplings of 1-2 ft costs around 10-20 rupees. We mostly plant saplings of Pungan, Iluppai, Magizham, Neem and some fruit trees. Mostly we're planting saplings that helps to get rainfall. And saplings that helps to rejuvenate the ground water. Also, saplings which helps in attracting birds - that will create an eco-system again. For protecting a sapling we need fences around it.
We need your extended support to help us carry on our efforts to re-build the lives of the farmers in the Cauvery delta region.
