This worldwide humanitarian crisis due to Corona Pandemic, Class V student Champa Bandra (11) is facing a big crisis . Her mother, takes care of the 7-member family doing various daily wages jobs, has also lost all her incomes for 21 days lockdown .
This is not the story of Champa’s family, hundreds of other daily wage earners and their families are staring at a grim future without any food and money. They are dependent on emergency relief from government and NGOs. People's Cultural Center (PECUC), Odisha has started relief measures in coordination with Govt . PECUC has planned to provide immediate help to the needy families in keonjhar ,Khordha & Balasore district. With special focus on old, sick and daily wage labourers & children . PECUC will also raise community awareness about COVID19 Pandemic and encourage WASH/Hygiene & sanitation practices.
