Jayesh is on the Investment Committee of Aavishkaar India II Fund, which is a social impact fund. Jayesh served on the Board of United Way International for 6 years, and was on the Board of SONG, a fund owned by Soros, Omidyar Network and Google, which invests in SMEs in India that meet social objectives. Jayesh also serves as an mentor and advisor to Dasra, Hub Singapore, Seva Café, Gramshree amongst others.
Jayesh is an active angel investor with investments in various Venture Capital Funds in Silicon Valley and start-up enterprises across the broad technology and media space. He is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at INSEAD, a TiE Charter Member, a TiE Angel and a member of Intellecap Impact Investing Network
Hari Kumar is the founding partner and CEO of LionRock Capital. LionRock is a family office that employs an endowment style model to investing in public and private markets primarily in Asia Pacific. LionRock has made several private investments in Asia, principally in early stage and growth companies with a focus on consumer and technology sectors.
Hari has almost 20 years of experience in the finance and securities markets with 15 years of direct investing experience in the Asia Pacific markets. In addition, he has been involved in building up investing organizations and setting up investing teams and building operational infrastructure. Prior to founding LionRock Capital, Hari was a co-founder and partner at TPG-Axon Capital, where he was responsible for building the organization, raising capital and investing across a variety of geographies and sectors.
Prior to joining TPG-Axon, Hari was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs and was responsible for the Non-Japan Asian Principal Strategies business. .Hari is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's degree in Economics (concentration in Finance) from the Wharton School and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science (Computer Science) from the School of Engineering.
Dave Richards is an experienced entrepreneur, executive and global early-stage investor. He has been an early investor in microfinance and other emerging market sector businesses serving BoP (low-income) populations. Dave has been involved with the Unitus Group since 2005, helping to lead efforts to select and invest in BoP entrepreneurs in many developing countries. He led the Unitus Labs incubator for 2 years including the successful research and spinout of both Unitus Impact (venture investments to create BoP livelihoods) and Unitus Seed Fund. Dave also oversaw Unitus Investment Management, the General Partner of Unitus Equity Fund (microfinance venture fund), was a board member of Unitus Capital (Bangalore-based investment bank for BoP sectors) and on the investment committee for Unitus Impact.
Previously, Dave developed multiple high-growth technology businesses at RealNetworks, Sybase and Symantec from startup to multiple hundred million dollar global enterprises. He also is a partner with Social Venture Partners Seattle and leads the Social Innovation Fast Pitch startup angel fund. Dave received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.
